The experience begins with a pickup from your hotel in Cusco in our private transport. We will be driving you to the train station in Poroy. It is just outside of Cusco city.
At Poroy, you will be boarding the Hiram Bingham Train. On this four hours train ride to Aguas Calientes, you will experience our signature service each moment.
The train traverses along the course of Urubamba river. You will be rewarded with sights of snow capped Andean peaks, Peruvian highland farms as you will be travelling from Andes to the cloud forest of the region.
At Aguas Calientes, we will be accommodating you in Belmond Sanctuary Lodge. From here you will have a closer view of the emblematic citadel of Machu Picchu.
The following day you will have a personalised private tour of the lost city of Incas. After the tour, you will be returning to Cusco experiencing the same luxury service as on your way to Machu Picchu.

We will be picking you up from your hotel in Cusco. Then in our private transport we will be driving you to Poroy Train station. Here you will be boarding the Hiram Bingham Train to visit Machu Picchu. The journey offers enchanting views of the villages of the Sacred Valley of Incas.
At Aguas Calientes, our representative will drive you to the Machu Picchu Sanctuary, home to Belmond Sanctuary Lodge.
You will have the rest of the evening free to yourself to explore the town or simply relax and unwind in the tranquility of the lodge.
In the morning, our crew will be driving you to the archaeological site. We will assist you in passing the security control.
Once inside, you will be rewarded with a sight of the golden rays of sun shimmering on the walls of the Incan citadel. Our guide will be giving you a detailed tour of the citadel for two hours. On this tour, you will be visiting some of the prime sites which will give you an in-depth information of the citadel.
After the tour, you will have some free time to explore the citadel on your own. If you have booked to climb Machu Picchu mountain or Huayna Picchu mountain our guide will be directing you to the entrance. If you intend to hike one of these mountains do advise us at the time of booking.
Alternatively, you can hike to the sun gate. It offers a spectacular view of the citadel. Sungate is the point of entrance to the citadel for those on Inca Trail.
Once you have had your fill of the Inca citadel, you will be taking the bus back to Aguas Calientes. Here you will be boarding the Hiram Bingham Train to Poroy at 0440 PM. .
Our representative will be meeting you and will be transferring you back to your hotel in the city of Cusco. You will be reaching Cusco at approximately 10:00 PM.
